I found this small political advertisement (it’s the size of a business card) at a local antique mall that is, sadly, going out of business. That’s where most of the postcards are from, too.

He certainly did continue “the fight to have our domestic institutions returned to the people of Alabama”. Those treasured institutions included ignorance, intolerance, racial hatred, and the legally mandated segregation of the Jim Crow laws.
