But here’s a more widely circulated one:
CHOCOLATE “KISS” PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
Mix together:
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 tbsp. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together:
1 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix all together.
Form into balls and roll in sugar, flattening slightly.
Press a Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss in the top of each cookie.
Bake 7-10 minutes in a preheated 375°F oven.
Put into tupperware containers and serve to hungry music retail customers on the day after Thanksgiving.
[Update: The aforementioned “secret” recipe can be found here.]

Does easier necessarily mean better?

How does it get any easier than mix it all together, make balls and stuff a kiss on the top?!? These look great. I went looking for a recipe to use the bag of kisses I bought for this purpose (without a recipe to start with). We’ll be trying them tonight!

Hope it worked for you, Lou! My Mom swears by this recipe (the “secret” one, that is…follow the link) and, by extension and our exquisite good taste, so do all the members of her family. Merry Christmas!
