Sing Me the Songs CD

June 28th, 2013 · No Comments

It’s been ages since I bought a new CD. Today I got the new concert tribute to Kate McGarrigle, “Sing Me the Songs,” and it is killing me. Anna McG, Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Emmylou, Teddy Thompson, Norah Jones, Richard Thompson, Antony…many more, and it sounds so great to hear terrific song interpreters singing such beautiful lyrics with no overdubs or effects. Highly recommended to all.
