Every morning brings little surprises for those willing to notice them. This morning’s surprise was unavoidable, appearing right at my feet during my morning rounds. Popping up seemingly overnight, as if from earth’s oven, was this blossom of mushrooms in my backyard, looking invitingly like a generous cluster of Nilla Wafers. Mmmm…’nana puddin’, anyone?

I just took a pic of this exact mushroom cluster outside of my apartment…I have never seen any like this… =)
