A live performance by Elton John of Ryan Adams’ “Oh My Sweet Carolina,” from EJ’s 2002 Australian tour. Nice interpretation and piano-playing, despite the Muppet-hands. The lyrics have a striking similarity to those from the early John/Taupin compositions, which I assume Ryan Adams has a fondness for.
