Jesus: All-star center-fielder for the Nazareth Carpenters

I’m going through piles and boxes again, partly because I am still sick and frustrated about losing my prized notebook and partly because it just needs to get done.  Three piles are being created: the throw-away pile, the keep-and-do-something-with pile, and the possibly-blog-worthy pile.  This iron-on patch fell into the last pile.

It came into my possession through the mail, and was attached for some reason to a promotional campaign for a record album.  I can’t remember which one.  A little interweb searching makes me think that it has something to do with a Drag City release by Will Oldham, but more than that I do not know.

I liked its humor and irreverence.  I also know that it is likely to offend someone somewhere.  Sorry about that, if it’s you.  I didn’t make it.
