THE EISENHOWER THEATER. The Theater seats 1100 and was named in honor of President and Mrs. Eisenhower. President Eisenhower signed the National Cultural Center Act, which created the Center, in 1958. The stage curtain is the gift of Canada and was designed by Mme. Mariette Rousseau-Vermette.
