I looked at the card and wondered if that was where we stayed…..and then I looked at the rest of the post!!! Can’t believe you have that still.

I’m sure this was my favorite hotel when I was a kid. We’d stop there on the drive from Chicago to Central Texas a few times in the early 60’s. To me, this was the epitome of modernity and such a welcome relief after so many hours of summer driving without air conditioning. I always think of that pool where’d I immediately go when we go there while dad napped and mom got a little wet. Eventually, I’d get out, and we’d eat at the diner after perusing the gift shop. Such great memories!
