Hosp.\u00a0 They asked me if I wanted one so took advantage of their offer; also got a free lunch.\u00a0 Saw the ass&#8217;t staff worker&#8217;s uniform today and it was darling.\u00a0 Hope I&#8217;ll pass the exam so I can see what it&#8217;s like to wear one.<\/p>\n<p>Sweetheart, I think you&#8217;d like my new red beret (hat) and the cute, but practical, black shoes I bought.\u00a0 They&#8217;re very comfortable and attractive too &#8211; a lower heel also.<\/p>\n<p>Had your two overcoats, tuxedo, and other black suit out in the sun today, airing them out &#8211; brushed them and then put them in moth proof bags; so they&#8217;re set now until you come back.\u00a0 Hurry back, won&#8217;t you, Sweetheart.\u00a0 I&#8217;m so anxious to see and be with you again.\u00a0 You&#8217;re a wonderful lover &#8211; so thoughtful and kind &#8211; affectionate and romantic.\u00a0 I love you and miss you more than I can ever say.<\/p>\n<p>With all my love,<br \/>\nBev<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" vspace=\"1\" width=\"343\" src=\"wp-content\/images\/bevandande_11April1943.jpg\" alt=\"Bev to Ande: V-Mail of 11 April 1943\" height=\"261\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forgot to tell you that I was given a smallpox vaccination at N.W.
