Dear Ralph \u2013<\/p>\n
It\u2019s Sunday night over here so I\u2019ll answer your letter while it\u2019s fairly quiet around the barracks.\u00a0 Tomorrow night I\u2019m going to town with some of the boys for dinner and a show.\u00a0 I like to keep caught up with my mail because you never know how soon some more will come in.\u00a0 Gee I could hardly make out this last letter of yours.\u00a0 The writing was pretty heavy and the whole page was photographed dark.\u00a0 How do mine come out?\u00a0 So they are clamping down on deferments are they?\u00a0 My older brother is afraid he may be called up any time.\u00a0 He is in #A and has 3 children so I don\u2019t look for him to get it right away.\u00a0 Nothing new from over here, except that I heard from Harry Teason the other day.\u00a0 He\u2019s still over here and says that Don is probably back home by now.\u00a0 I see where the first and second battalions just got home a while ago after 23 months overseas.\u00a0 Nice future for us huh?\u00a0 So long for now.<\/p>\n
