Speaking of No Depression, I was really sad when they “folded” late last year. Not only was their bi-monthly publication consistently interesting and well-written and filled with good humor and enthusiasm, but the small staff was a joy to deal with, from a retailer’s viewpoint.

You can’t make decisions based on polls or whether those decisions will keep you in the White House. You can’t kowtow to your advisers, consultants, public relations people or the media. You have to do the right thing, opinion and politics be damned.
According to what we see in the trailer, it’s about the transformation of the current president from sloppy-drunk party boy to humbled (or triumphant?) victor over the parental authority figure (that other president).
