Trained In – a 2007 documentary short by Kevin Garrison and Allison Stagg.
This 10-minute film portrays the difficulties faced by the residents of the small residential neighborhood of Collegeville, in north Birmingham, that is surrounded on all sides by railroad tracks.

Hey, I know this guy. Kevin is a good friend of mine and has done a kick ass job on this documentary. I have seen it popping up everywhere lately, and am so glad. I want to hang out with the guy by the fountain.

There was a hearing about the problems in Collegeville at City Hall, I believe. This film was shown to those in attendance and, subsequently, was posted on al.com. That’s where I saw it.
